Christmas jingle composer sought |

Youths in Slough are being encouraged to create music in an effort to raise awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Slough Borough Council has asked residents under 19 to participate in a competition to produce a Christmas jingle. All categories of music are encouraged to be entered, from traditional jingles to drum base, as long as it illustrates the dangers of drug and alcohol use before driving. The winning jingle will be aired on local station Time FM during December. Councillor Sean Wright stated: “Our young people have a lot of ability so I think this is a great chance for them to show what they can do and help to educate the community as well”. “It is important that everyone, and not just our younger residents, realise the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.” www.businessinberkshire.co.uk Download PDF for more information
